Dr. Alexander Pasik is CIO at the IEEE and teaches at Columbia University. He has served as CIO at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, founded and managed multimillion-dollar departments at Gartner, Lazard Frères, and Ernst & Young. He has managed large-scale Internet-enabled businesses in technology, consumer and financial industries and during his engagement with Bain & Co., he designed and established a new practice leveraging emerging technologies for new business models. He has also published extensively on trends in IT.
